Discovery Corner is open Monday-Friday year-round, including snow days, from 6:45 a.m.-6:00 p.m.  You can choose the schedule that works for you and your family. Our hours are flexible.  Full-time students are not charged extra for an extended day.

Our Director, Loretta, has worked at Discovery Corner Academy for more than 25 years.  Loretta is an energetic hands-on director who is endlessly involved with each class.  She speaks to your child at eye-level in a kind, considerate and respectful way and makes that a standard for her staff.  She's a wonderful role model for your child.  The children, parents, and teachers all love her friendly, helpful, and caring outlook.  She’s available and happy to talk to you about your child at any time.

Our teachers are mature, experienced and dedicated.  Most have children of their own and have taught at Discovery Corner for a number of years.  When parents enroll their second or third child at our school, they are delighted to see the same familiar smiling faces of our longtime teachers.  Every instructor knows every child.

Our teachers are carefully chosen for their kind, loving and caring manner.  They provide your child with a safe environment, an educational program with planned activities, positive social skills and individual help.
