Kindergarten-Prep Stimulates Critical Thinking Our kindergarten-prep program is designed for the child who will be attending kindergarten the following year. We help your child master basic skills in math, reading readiness, handwriting, language development and workbooks. Many experiences in art, music, computers, science, social skills and gym are scheduled every day. For more than 25 years, we have provided a warm small-class environment to help each child feel special, valued and successful. How Often Can I Talk With The Teacher? Parent/Teacher communications consists of daily ongoing dialogue with your child's teacher and the director, a weekly activity report, 2 report cards, and one scheduled conference. Computer Activities Reinforce Skills Your child has numerous opportunities to use our computers to reinforce the skills they have learned in class. Some of the skills that your child can practice on the computer are letter and number recognition, calendar concepts, predicting, sequencing, classifying, memory, imagination, patterns, and geometric shapes. Encouragement, individual help, and repetition are key to understanding concepts. |
